Play-Doh Fun

One of the many things I love about summer is all the activities I get to do with my kids. Play-Doh is one of them. Not many people like to let their kids play with Play-Doh-it's messy, the kids tend to eat it, etc. But I love the language and the teaching opportunities it gives me. Grant and I practice our numbers, making things like balls and houses. Audrey hears this language and wants to join in. I only play with before I have swept up, so the kids can make their mess, and its not too bad to clean up, since I have to do it anyway. Love the Play-Doh time with my kids.

Grant likes to make his numbers. We made every number we had along with little balls to go under each number. Then he made a mess!

Audrey loves to fill things up and empty them back out again. She will do this for a long time. She must have filled up that little purple bucket ten times with Play-Doh. So cute!
